How does vocal remove work?
Upload a song and process to attenuate or remove lead vocals while keeping accompaniment—karaoke, cover practice, or short-video beds. Simpler than full demixing when you only need backing. Download accompaniment; for a separate vocal stem, use the stem separator.
Separator vs vocal remove?
The separator outputs multiple stems for mixing. Vocal remove is for a backing track only. Use /music/separator for vocals, drums, and bass; use this page when you only need accompaniment.
How clean is the backing? Formats?
Results depend on mix: centered dry vocals often clean well; dense overlaps may leave ghost vocals. MP3, WAV, and similar uploads apply. No guarantee of zero vocal residue—audition before critical commercial use.
