Notes
- Trim rules match audio clip validation (minimum segment length; out point cannot exceed duration).
- Export format, resolution, quality, and frame rate can be chosen freely to suit your creative needs.
- On small screens you can drag the range horizontally; after submit, track progress and download under “My Works”.
How to use
- Upload video and mark in/out points or join clips.
- Preview the cloud render and download.
- Then extract audio, add subs, or convert format.
Scope and limits:Light editing only—not a desktop NLE. Use a pro editor for complex grades.
Search and usage guide
Video editor means “keep a span of the picture”: in/out points, drop a bumper, grab a highlight. It is not a multi-track grade suite; heavy titles belong in a desktop NLE, then come back to convert or replace BGM.
Use it for short-form cuts, meeting excerpts, or promo roughs. Set duration first, then subtitle, replace BGM, or transcode to avoid extra encodes. Start from a high-bitrate master.
Unlike the audio editor, this changes picture time. Unlike format convert, this changes duration, not just the container.
Search should land on /en/video/editor. Confirm rights in picture, music, and speech before you publish.
FAQ
How does online video editing work?
Upload, set in/out on the timeline, and export the clip—highlights, trims, or ad removal for short-form. Browser UI with cloud render; advanced multi-track timelines depend on current release. Long films may be easier in sections.
Formats and resolution?
Common MP4/MOV uploads; export resolution and bitrate on page. Repeated re-encode loses quality—keep a master. Duration and size caps follow membership.
After editing, subtitles or new music?
Yes. Clip the length first, then add subtitles or replace BGM; mute first if you need a new voice-over.
How does this compare with desktop NLEs?
This is a browser trim: set length, drop a bumper, grab a highlight, cloud export. Color, keyframes, and dense title tracks belong on a desktop NLE. Use MediCut to get a usable cut, then convert or replace BGM.
